From the not-so-mean streets of the Baltimore suburbs, under the passing shadows of airplanes from a neighboring airport, inside the roar of engines and the shouts of children... this is where I am. I never meant to end up here, drawing instead of taking notes, sewing instead of studying, but here I am and I like it. My mind works in colors with a side order of numbers and one day I will be a co-owner of a lovely little tea shop in Savannah, GA.
I was in love for a long time, but was recently forced out of it. Sometimes, waking up, I forget that I'm not allowed to love him and that I'm supposed to be over it. We do what we can, and the rest we fake.
To be honest, I'm not a very good designer and the images of human form that come from my fingers are generally flat and cartoonish. We do what we can, and the rest we make up.
I teach a yoga class and bodies in motion are infinitely interesting to me. I hope to one day be able to design clothes for these kinds of bodies--kinetic, spontaneous, flexible, explosive.
