I'm a by product of the TV generation; image orientated and image driven. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Kaptain Kagaroo, Sesame Street, Zoom, National Geographic, Wide World of Sports, and commercial Television, etc... for the image hunger that I now suffer as a direct result of being subjected to them in my early years... I ride bikes. Preferably off road, but I do own a fixie as well. I listen to music, but nothing as exciting as most, I'm sure. I like movies, even though 90% of them I believe I could have finished better myself. Exceptions to this rule are things like Jarmusch flicks; Deadman, Night on Earth, Ghost Dog, etc.. I work as graphic artist at small ma & pa printshop in Durango. Despite the low pay and lack of benefits, I believe it's the best job I've ever had. I spend way too much time on the computer. I'm a hermit. I'm sarcastic, jaded, manic, introverted, extroverted, inverted... I take/make a LOT of photographs.
Jerry, got any tips for someone looking at doing nude self-portraiture using lightplay and form? I'm interested in testing it out (I need to buy some high-speed Ilford film and a new battery for the cam) sometime, just as an experiment of what can become of it. That, and I think it'd be cool to create something like what you do, being that it's some of my favourite work.
